About
ProMe (pronounced pɹəˈmɛ), short for “Protector” and “Memories”, is a game companion for The Protector’s Memories, a solo role-playing game by Enzo Salviato.
This site is not a complete digital version of the game: you need the official rulebook to play. It is merely a digital aid for your adventure. All rights belong to the original author, Enzo Salviato, and the official publisher, Critical Kit. The game can be purchased from CriticalKit.co.uk and other retailers.
The game is exceptional but requires taking notes on paper — which I personally find tedious. That’s why I developed this digital version, to move note-taking and map annotation to a computer (or mobile device). Some may prefer playing on paper; to each their own.
What ProMe offers
Once again, ProMe is not a complete official digital adaptation of the game. The rulebook is still required to play, and all original creative rights belong to Enzo Salviato and the official publisher.
ProMe offers the following features:
-
A character sheet with persistent saving (either locally in the browser or online via a Google account connection).
-
An interactive map to navigate, which can be annotated with different colored biomes and emojis.
-
A travel journal for your adventures, which uses Markdown formatting and is automatically enhanced for improved layout.
-
Game tools such as the ability to roll a die or draw a card.
-
A town generator and an inhabitant generator based on the official rules.

Development
I’m Kitty. I’m a web developer and a tabletop RPG enthusiast.
I discovered The Protector’s Memories thanks to my sisters, who gifted me the game. I was charmed by the mysterious and enchanting world Enzo Salviato created and started developing small tools to simplify tasks like character and town creation. One thing led to another, and I built this more or less complete site for the game, just for fun.
Images
The images used on the site were generated using MidJourney by my dear sister, who followed her creative instincts, along with original illustrations by Enzo Salviato and Natalia Mancio, and content from the rulebook to bring the game’s environments to life.
Music
The music comes from TableTopAudio, a site dedicated to soundscapes for role-playing games. The rulebook recommends certain tracks from this site, which you can listen to directly from ProMe. It’s completely optional, of course, but it makes sessions much more immersive, so it’s encouraged!
